Dr. Lolley utilizes an integrative approach that is developed for each individual and uses evidence-based interventions. He believes in collaborative goal setting and work with patients to develop realistic treatment objectives achieved with the most authentic and efficient clinical tools. Dr. Lolley has extensive training applying Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic, Interpersonal, and Structural Family Therapy. Although he has a particular interest in insight driven therapies, Dr. Lolley often works with individuals on more short-term, symptom reduction goals.
In addition to his work as a psychotherapist, Dr. Lolley also conducts integrated assessment batteries for diagnostic clarification to assist other providers or developing a comprehensive treatment plan.
Dr. Lolley completed his B.S. in Biology and Philosophy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Following his undergraduate education, he spent several years conducting mental health research at Harvard Medical School. This experienced led him to pursue a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the Virginia Consortium Program. Dr. Lolley received dual training working with adults as well as with children, adolescents, and families. While completing his psychological internship at Kings County Hospital Center, a public psychiatric hospital in Brooklyn, New York, he had the privilege of working with patients facing chronic mental illness. After completing his post-doctoral residency in the outpatient department of psychiatry at Kaiser Permanente, he relocated from the Bay Area to Seattle.
