I work with individuals who are curious about strengthening their understanding of themselves and connecting to the mystery of their inner intelligence. I believe that every individual has a story worth nurturing. These stories often direct us to what deeply matters which can lead to painful experiences. Sometimes we recall aspects of the past or think about scenarios in the future that signal themes of love and connection, risk and death, beauty, and even tragedy. The narratives we tell our soul can create problems that often manifest as symptoms of depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress, addiction, and relational difficulties. By reauthorizing the stories we tell ourselves we can connect to the deep wisdom that is our soul and transform how we approach life.

My approach to therapy is rooted in creating the warmth, acceptance, and safety necessary to dive into the complexity of your soul’s story. I place a strong emphasis on the relational component as this sets the foundation required for developing an alliance with your most transformative self. I utilize a personalized approach to treatment informed by evidence-based standards to meet the specific needs, challenges, and goals of each person I work with to create a supportive environment. I am committed to helping individuals navigate their inner worlds in a way that is empowering and met with deep respect. I largely incorporate aspects from humanistic, psychodynamic, and depth psychology frameworks during the therapeutic process.

As a compassionate witness to your internal atmosphere, I recognize that the pursuit of self-discovery and surrendering to painful experiences is a deeply courageous endeavor. Through collaborative and thoughtful exploration, meaning for new potential can provide freedom to the person you are meant to be.

Over the last decade, my training has encompassed a variety of clinical settings ranging from inpatient psychiatric hospitals, academic settings, to outpatient therapy clinics. I have a background in forensic psychology providing evidence-based testing for civil and criminal matters within personal injury, wrongful death, criminal responsibility, and competency domains. I also have extensive training in psychodiagnostic and neuropsychological assessment protocols for a vast array of referral reasons extending to psychosis and mood disorders, personality, intellectual impairment, and traumatic brain injuries.

Outside of my rigorous training in assessment, I have provided evidence-based informed therapies (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, CPT) for individuals and groups with personality disorders, major depression, anxiety, psychosis, PTSD, sexual compulsivity, addiction, competency restoration, and consequences of criminal behavior.

Additionally, I am a Seattle native and LGBTQ+ identifying individual. I enjoy nature, hiking the outdoors, a good cup of coffee and a solid bowl of ice cream! I love traveling and going on adventures, attending live music events, journaling about life, running, and quirky artistic experiences. I also have a black cat named Rosie, who I love dearly.
