At the core of my approach is creating strong therapeutic relationships that include evidence-practices and expressive arts.

My decade-plus of experience has cemented my commitment to treat clients as whole people with strengths, insight, and the capacity to grow. I prioritize building trust and tailoring treatment to the individual in front of me. I blend structured, research-supported methods with experiential and integrative practices to help clients build skills and move toward what feels meaningful and sustainable in their lives. I’m also connected to local resources and social services in the Seattle area, which helps me better support the specific needs of the communities I serve.

My style is patient, enthusiastic, and versatile. I strive to create a space where people from all backgrounds feel respected, supported, and seen. Over the years, I’ve worked with clients across a wide range of identities and experiences—including differences in race, class, language, gender presentation, sexuality, and neurodiversity. These experiences have taught me to listen deeply, communicate clearly, and adapt creatively to each person’s unique perspective.

I often integrate creative arts therapies with structured, evidence-based interventions—balancing warmth and curiosity with clinical grounding. At the same time, I’m open to incorporating spiritual and movement-based practices when they resonate with a client’s values and goals. I’m familiar with both the healing and the hard parts of this work, including crisis response, self-harm prevention, and navigating systemic barriers. My goal is to bring compassion, clarity, and collaboration into every session.

My practice is rooted in evidence-based approaches, but I also continue to ground myself in a broader understanding of healing—drawing from spiritual practices such as Reiki, energy work, meditation, and other holistic traditions. This allows me to support clients not just mentally and emotionally, but energetically and spiritually when appropriate.

I have over 11 years as a Mental Health Counselor and Child & Family therapist, I've have had the honor of working with youth and adults in residential, outpatient, and educational settings -- in both crisis intervention and long-term therapy. I have worked with people from varying backgrounds in terms of race, class, English language proficiency, sexuality, gender presentation, neurodiversity, and more. I have learned to adjust my approach to meet the needs of the person in front of me.

I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University Seattle, a CACREP-accredited program, as well as a Master of Arts in Drama Therapy, both completed in Winter 2013. I also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theater from Doane College. My academic background reflects my commitment to integrating evidence-based counseling with creative, experiential approaches in my therapeutic work.

Expecting to be paneled with Premera and Regence within a month.
